HP Engine and Transmission is committed to high-quality service. If a purchased unit is defective, customers may request a replacement. All sales are final, and refunds will not be issued.
Buyer’s Inspection: Upon the carrier’s delivery of Company’s products to Buyer, Buyer shall immediately inspect the products for damage and missing quantity while the carrier is still present.
Only after thorough inspection and confirmation of product integrity, should the Buyer proceed to accept delivery. The presence of the carrier ensures that any discrepancies can be swiftly addressed and documented, facilitating prompt resolution of any issues.
We will NOT be held responsible for damage caused in transit that has been signed for “free and clear”.
If the Buyer identified prior to signing or missing product, they should immediately alert the carrier. The carrier must make a notation of the Buyer’s discovery on the bill of lading, indicating the time and date. Additionally, the Buyer should obtain from the carrier a copy of the signed bill of lading that includes the notation of the damage or missing product as proof of their claim and then contact us immediately.
You’ll need to provide the proving documents and photos of the damage to us on the same day.
